Down 10-14 in Super Bowl XLII, the 10-6 Giants vs. the 16-0 Patriots. Eli Manning escapes a pile of New England players and throws a ball to the New England 24-yard line. David Tyree uses his helmet (hence the term "helmet catch") to catch the ball and pull it away from New England's Rodney Harrison #37.

On February 7, 2010, the Saints faced the Colts in Super Bowl XLIV. In the fourth quarter, Peyton Manning had just lead the Indianapolis Colts into Saints' territory. Then, New Orleans Saints' cornerback Tracy Porter intercepted Peyton Manning's pass and returned it 74 yards for a touchdown. After the successful extra point, the Saints were leading the game 31-17 with 3:12 remaining.

On February 1, 2009, the Steelers were trailing the Cardinals 23-20 late in the fourth quarter. Santonio Holmes had already brought the Steelers to the Cardinals' 6-yard line. Two plays later, Holmes caught a pass in the corner of the enzone with three Cardinal players around, and he still made the catch and gave the Steelers the game-winning touchdown.

In Super Bowl XII (12), the Cowboys faced the Denver Broncos and the Cowboys were the champions 27-10. In fact, that year, they had the #1 offense and #1 defense (that's a powerful team!).
